TLDR: I can’t get the red dot to stay on while running the job.
It works fine for framing.
I’ve tried enabling the option, selecting NONE and all the different ports (it should be port 8), selecting normally low/normally high.
Never comes on during processing.
Running Galvo Beta 1.7.
Background: The red dot works perfectly while framing flat field, but the framing for rotary does not move the rotary to show you where you’ll be marking, so it’s not “true” framing.
I have a rotary job that requires precise positioning of tic-marks and I need to use the red dot to line things up and verify position. The only way to do that is having the red dot on during processing while leaving the CO2 laser powered down.
Would be nice to have “true framing” for rotary work.
