I would greatly appreciate the opportunity to join and beta test MillMage. I am in the final stages of building a CNC based on my own design. I use grblHAL and have been using LightBurn for a long time for my laser projects.
I would be happy to join the testers group as well. I use lower-end/hobby CNCs, like 3018 and the TTC450, which might create a huge user base later. I’m capable of debugging GCode and firmware issues and provide user guides (like this TwoTrees TTC450 CNC machine - Diode Laser Wiki, as might already know )
I’d be glad to help you guys test this if you still need more eyes on?
I would like to be considered i have a Grble cnc i have been using for a while now and have been using Lightburn for about 3 years now, i can’t tell you how many times i have used LB hot keys out of habbit when using cnc programs
Not sure what you mean by that. Is the group supposed to be visible in this forum? Is there a specific entitlement that makes it accessible?
It’s only visible for the selected users. They should see the “Private Betas” in category.
I am really surprised you are not in the group already!
I asked some months ago but never got a reply Must have been lost somewhere
Most of you have been added.
“Most”…so, if we don’t see the category, we weren’t added?
I’d like to join the expanded beta test group. I have an MPCNC Primo running Marlin.
I’d love to be added to the beta as well.
To be considered, you need to describe your experience level with CNC mills and what equipment you currently have.
So I have a queen bee ultimate which is running with a smoothstepper currently but that can change. I made my g0704 into a Cnc mill. I currently use mach3/4 and vectric aspire. I just took apart a cncrouterparts 4x8 table. I’ve built or modified all my own equipment including milling the parts for my g0704 conversion to Cnc from hoss’s plans
I see no request by you to join - I’m good, but I don’t read minds.
Colten - Are you running solely Linux? You mentioned this in another thread, and we do not have Linux builds of MM.
What’s your experience level with CNC usage? We’re not looking for anyone completely new to this for the moment.
I have a couple of emails from the support team where they had asked about what my forum handle is so that they could add me. I would love to be added, if that’s a possibility.
I have about a year experience with cnc and currently have a OneFinity woodworker with a PWN CNC spindle router and VFD, connected to a Windows computer running Windows 10 and a 2021 M1 Mac mini that I can control the router with, as well, to test side by side issues.
Done - you’re added.
