I’m trying to engrave on a tumbler with both line and fill. The fill does fine but the line layer is very detailed. When I’m engraving the line the tumbler budges and everything is trash from there. When it does fill it goes back and forth like a printer and comes out smooth due to minimal motion on the rollers. I would like my lines to “print” in the same format, left to right and down instead of bouncing around. Is this possible?

I’ve ran my line on 10 speed and it still gets off track. I’m currently running at 1 speed but this is obviously extremely slow.

Convert your design from a line based one to a fill based one. This would entail converting every line to a filled shape.

For a simple design this could be done simply by using the Offset Shapes tool. Outset or inset the line to the thickness that is desired.

Make sure Layer is set to Fill and that the Preview looks correct.
