Roly Lasermatic mk2 Homing Issues

Hey guys, I’m having issues homing my Roly Lasermatic mk2 10/20.

Clicking home causes it to move to the bottom left as normal, but it continues to try to go further left on the X axis and makes a horrible noise as the step motors continues to attempt to push the laser left. Pushing the limit switch with my finger does not cause it to stop.

I have no issues using the move function to move it left. It hits the limit switch like normal and stops.

Nothing changed. Lightburn didn’t restart/update since my last project. I tried restarting the computer, restarting lightburn. Everything is up to date. Mac OS.
Any ideas?

This does not compute. Using the finger eliminates the “almost close enough” possibility.

I am guessing you have an intermittent connection (broken wire?) to the Xaxis switch.

I’m thinking that as well. I replaced it once before and it fixed similar issues. I was hoping it wasn’t happening again as I might not be able to get one from support, even though it’s still under warranty.

If you can find an electronics friend (Radio Amateur?), maybe they can test it and repair if needed.
