I need help determining the issue I am having with my rotary attachment. I bought a rotary attachment (one of the cheapies that has the 2 small diameter long rollers) & within a few minutes of use one of the phases on the stepper motor stopped working. I bought 2 more steppers over a couple of weeks and tried them and same thing happened after a few minutes of use again. I am thinking that the amps on the steppers i bought aren’t high enough for the driver. Reading the settings on the driver it is set to 2.8A, all the stepper motors I bought were well under that.
Do you think this is my issue, when I look at the X & Y axis steppers they are rated at 2.8A (I think) they are 57BHH51-280a-31C-2.
Any help would be appreciated.
FYI, the original Stepper motor on the Rotary Attachment was 17HW4410N-03AD-Z
