Rotary cut, laser moving around instead of a continuous cut

I am new to this and I am cutting a wrap cup design on my 100w laser with a rotary. When doing the cut it is jumping around to different areas on the cup. Is there a setting that makes the laser cut in the direction on the cup in one continuous line instead of jumping around to different areas of the cup?

If the artwork is a vector file, it will follow the tool path…

I usually make it into a fill and then it will do it line by line…

Is this what’s happening?

Thanks for the advice! Do you know if it is possible to keep the mode as line and do it line by line and change the toolpath of the vector. I am trying to laser a “doodle drawing” so I was hoping to keep the outline of the pictures only. If I need to change it to a fill I can I was just hoping to try and accomplish more of a doodle drawing look. But I can change it to a fill if I need to.

If you don’t mind posting the artwork, there are many here to help you get your desired results…

It’s much more difficult to give you advise without seeing what you are doing…
