Rotary question rollers to chuck

Switched from rollers to chuck and now the image/texts are reversed. Did I miss a setting somewhere. Are they different from using the rollers to the chuck? Xtool D1 Pro 20W with RA2 Rotary. Any advice appreciated.

Most of these are two phase motors. There is no standard which phase goes where. It’s likely that you can just move the pins and change which phase is which.

The other option is to make a pigtail that swaps the wires there.

Yep, you can do that too… I thought about it and promptly forgot about it :man_shrugging:

Thanks for the insight. I saw that but didn’t know if that was the answer. I’ll try that. Thanks again

I’ve taped an object with black masking tape and run the job at a low power to ensure everything is correct, then I removed the tape and reset the power to do the job.

Sometimes it saves waste.

Did the same today with painters tape. Worked out fine. Appreciate the help. Thanks.

The black painters tape is the best, nice crisp white line with low power.
