HI all
trying to setup a rotary on a machine that uses the Ruida controller and am getting thoroughly confused
Plug the rotary in and press the button which connects the rotary stepper instead of the normal Y axis stepper and that all works ok
However when i go into lightburn (1.3.0.1) and hit the setup rotary i hit enable rotary and select roller type - so good so far
However no matter it seems what value i enter into the STEPs per Rotation box it seems to make no difference to the behaviour of the roller (having set 28mm as the roller diameter)
Additionally if i have it set to 200 steps per rotation (from googling the stepper_) and send a job ( a small sqaure only) i have the origin set to say x 200 and y 300 as soon as i hit go on the job it jumps to 10000mm on the y axis and doesnt move the roller at all
Can anyone shed any light on this?
