Rubber-band framing not working as it should?

I have a problem with rubber-band framing.

If an item is allocated to T1, the rubber-band frame feature recognises the T1 item, irrespective of the setting for the Frame switch in the cuts/layers window.

If an item is allocated to T2, the rubber-band frame feature ignores the T2 item, irrespective of the setting for the Frame switch in the cuts/layers window.

Hi Doug, the ‘frame’ switch in the ‘cuts/layers’ pane is for the laser, so the laser itself doesn’t frame the ‘t1 or t2’.
It will frame the project in Lightburn but if the ‘frame’ toggles are turned ‘off’, the laser doesn’t frame the ‘T1 or T2’ parts of the project.
Not sure if it’s worded very well but hope it helps.

Thanks Kris. You’ve confirmed my understanding of how it should work. However, the switch makes no difference. Also, as I said, T1 and T2 behave differently.

I’ve been in touch with Lightburn Software Support who have advised me that they are aware of the bug and it has been fixed and will be patched in the next release.
So that’s good news! :grinning:
I won’t mark it as a solution until I’m able to test the new release.
