Rubber Stamp Making

Hi All, I have a question about trying to make a small rubber ink stamp on an xtool d1 pro. Seems like I have posted on this before, but cant find it. I only have a small piece of rubber sheet for one try. It is a round circle with three initials in it. How do I etch out the interior around the letters? Do I need to set the layer to fill? This material is about 1/8 thick. Any help about this process is appreciated before I mess it up.
Thanks,
Tim

Hi Tim - for this you would want to put an additional outline around your text in order to engrave the negative space that is the size of the stamp.

Don’t forget to flip your design horizontally so that it imprints correctly

Thanks for your reply. I will look into this. yes, I have already flipped it.
Thanks,
Tim

Here is what I have done if correct. I have two copies of the stamp. One in a black layer for the letters in fill mode, and the other in a red line layer for cutting around the letters. They are bulls eyed together. When I run the preview window, it will show the letters being engraved (this is in fill mode) but not the space all around the letters. Maybe it will cut different than what it shows. I am gonna try this tomorrow.
Thanks,
Tim
