Ruida 64XXG C02 laser 80w for cutting 9mm deep into 18mm plywood

Hi…I have a a Ruida 6XX4G 80W Co2 Laser and want to cut an 18mm plywood to half (9mm) of its depth… At the moment, I have tried different cut settings but struggle to reach atleast 7mm depth. Can someone help me figure this out please. Kindly attach pictures if possible. Thanks and looking forward

How fast is your cut?

Ruida 6XX4G is the controller, what is the actual laser tube you are using?
To add to Andreas question,

Speed you are trying to cut at?
Power setting you are using?
Actual mA the tube is running?

A deep cut like that that doesn’t go all the way through is probably going to need a lot of air assist.
You’ll want a good hard stream of high velocity air going directly in to that cut to clear the smoke and debris.

The standard “fish tank” pump that comes with many machines probably wont be sufficient.
