Ruida controller not following the line(cut) command?

I updated to version 13.01 today. Had the job ready hit the start command the engraving went as planned, but it failed to execute the line command to cut it out. Not knowing if it was my machine or the software I again tried to cut out a small triangle, with the same results, it followed the pattern but did not cut. I pulsed my machine and it burned through the wood in less than a second.
I Then set the engrave to my cut settings and it cut through the wood when switched back to line the laser again did not fire. My machine is a 50 watt 10 high laser with 5121 ruida contoller.

Can you upload the .lbrn file that you used for testing?

What speed along with min/max power are you running?

If you run at or below the Ruida controllers start speed, it will only produce minimum power output.

Sorry you’ve lost me on that one, min/max start speed?

calibration.lbrn2 (25.8 KB)

Small file to calibrate the z axis on my printer.

Your minimum power is set to 0% for the Line layer. Raise this closer to the max of 72% and this will likely resolve the issue.

The Ruida has an entry referred to as Start Speed. This controls how the power is applied.

If the head is traveling at or below the start speed you only get minimum power… It’s something like this…

If your layer minimum power was set to zero, it was probably off.
