That’s how I set mine up too, a button completely removes AC from my LPSU
If you remove power to LPSU how can you adjust the mA?
When the power is removed from the PSU, the screw is adjusted. Power is then restored and you test the result.
Got it, thanks.
Btw, which way to get voltage down? Clockwise?
As the river said, my sediments exactly…
Hoping you screw it in (clockwise) to increase…
On my LPSU CCW decreased the power.
One thing to watch for is the PSU can go non linear is adjusted too far out of range. What I mean by that is, when I first adjusted my LPSU to give 25ma at 99% power, 50% power was over 20mA. Where I ended up was to adjust the LPSU at 50% power to give 13mA, then checking it at 99% was like 25.8mA.
So make sure that after you adjust the LPSU that you check it at different power settings to make sure it is somewhat linear.
Thank you Jack and Joel. Have enot tried yet, waiting on plastic screwdrivers. I am currently at 24mA, so i will make sure to go CCW to reach 19mA.
Will post results.
That is good volume up clockwise, volume down, counter clockwise.
I’m going to take a different tact on the measurement scheme, I think.
Give you all an update.
I was able to adjuts PSU to 20ma @ 100%. Did a 50% test, came in at 9.3mA.
good enough for me.
Thank you all! Now i will re-run some power scale tests.
