Run count per layer (not Repeat count)

Wondering if anybody else would use/like a feature within LB that would allow you to see the current run count for projects that you have very long runs on. While yes the time is important, but I find myself wishing I could see what count we are on also because if you have a lot of layers you never know what count you are currently on for a specific layer. like, if I see a mistake, or want to pause but let it complete current layer run first and many other ideas I can use it for. Food for thought. Yes I know there is a run count for repeat, but that doesn’t help if you are running lets say 256 runs for a 3D slice or a Grey Scale project and you need to do something as stated above.

When that happens to me, I look at the preview window to pick a spot to restart.
This video explains the process better than I can.

Hope this helps.

It would be great, agreed, it’s just extremely hard to do.

The EZCad hardware has a buffer in it of about a megabyte of command data, and gives absolutely no feedback aside from “full”, “space available”, and “finished”.

We build up the job in memory and stream all the commands together, so LightBurn has no idea what has actually run, just what we’ve sent.
