S9 axis issue and blur

Hello

I recently purchased a S9 sculpfun laser and am having some problems. Some of them I have been able to solve by tightening the belts and tightening properly the eccentric nuts (the 3 that the equipment has). However, I am having two problems that I have not been able to solve.

In the photos you can see a vertical oscillation at the beginning of the horizontal lines and the letters are not clear. Can you help me to solve it?

Thank you

You don’t write anything about your parameters,
… Often the speed is chosen too high and the machine starts to shake.
Scanning offset compensation should also be adjusted, can be seen clearly in your letters.

I get oscillation like that if my belts are too loose or if my acceleration/speed is too high. My machine doesn’t have rollers or cam adjusters (it’s all linear bearings), so I’m not sure what symptoms those show if incorrectly adjusted.

Could be any or all:

  1. Loose laser mouting.
  2. Xaxis trolley rollers no snug on the track.
  3. One or both gantry trolleys loose in the rails.
  4. One or both gantry belts not snug.
  5. Frame not square.
  6. Overshoot during acceleration and or deceleration.

If you find one item in this list needed fixing, don’t stop. There is a fair chance there is more. These are precision positioning machines. “Good enough” is not good enough here.

Did you go through all the steps mentioned here: Guide to mechanical adjustments and maintenance ?
