Same size object, open for other laser, much bigger. Why?

This might be really obvious, but I don’t get it. I burn a 35 mm coin on my fiber laser. I open the same file with my Omni one, switch to that laser. Set its focal distance. And the projected frame is much larger. It still says it’s 35 mm wide. Since they were both in focus I would think they would show up the same size. What could cause this?

Are you switching lasers with a project open ?

Try first closing the project and then swap machines, reopen the project and see.

I think I tried exiting light burn and then returning. I will try again to verify. But from what you said, my assumption is correct that if set to 35mm, the object should be the same size regardless of whatever laser I am using. Thanks!

I am sure you know this, but it caught me off before with a quick glance. If the systems are using different measurement units, the numbers would look different. 35mm = 1.3780in.
