Save framing gcode to beginning of gcode

I’ve been googling for a while, and I’m not finding this - I have a creality CV-01 as one of my units. It has no USB connection, so I save gcode to an sd card, then pop it in and go. Is there a way to get lightburn to automatically add framing to the start of the gcode?

When you say framing are you expecting something where it runs an outline of the burn area? And you want this to happen automatically before each gcode save? If so, then no, there’s nothing like this.

What I suggest as a possible workaround is to actually draw the frame that you would want to run as a separate layer with very low power equivalent to framing level. Then only save that gcode as a separate file. Then you could run the framing gcode as you like before running the actual job.

That is exactly what I need - drawing a square at low power is perfect for my needs. My unit only has one button, which is essentially just a start stop button. It loads the first .gcode file on the sdcard, and goes. :stuck_out_tongue: I would just make it the framing square as the same file, and put an M0 at the end of it, which would make it pause until I hit the button again.
Thanks!
