Another weird one with Lightburn. Some projects I saved open completely empty. As shown in the picture, every projects that shows the Lightburn logo opens empty and the ones that shows an image of the project opens fine. It’s completely random. The failed files do have a weight so something is there.

Open the “bad” files in a text editor. If all of the data is a stream of [NULL], the file is corrupt.

If they’re saved on a cloud / NAS / remote drive, then this seems like a known problem:
When I reopen a file I have just created before, I cannot see any content in the lightburn program, the working area is completely empty. This is only for the last few files, I have created. Older files seem to be okay.
Details:
Lightburn Version: 1.3.01
OS: Win 11 Pro
File size is > 2 MB
I have tried to re-create my work, but same issue again: after closing and reopening it, Working area is emtpy, no layers etc, although file size is > 2 MB.

I’m using v1.0.00 on Win10 and license is expired for updates. I am beyond frustrated with the bug where files don’t load or save sometimes. When trying to load a file, it’s just ignored. The folder position is not remembered either so I have to look up the folder and file again… only to be ignored again… and sometimes again and again until finally it decides to load. I have hundreds of folders and thousands of files so this becomes a huge PITA. Same problem saving. I can click save-as and renam…
It seems to happen when the drive tells LightBurn the file has been saved, but is has not yet been fully copied to the cloud.
