Once I finally get an engraving the way I want it, I make it a point to save it. It seems that the next time I go back to that file, it has kept some of the settings from my last burn, such as turning invert on/off, speed, power, etc. while ignoring the original settings for that particular burn. Is there something that I’m missing the settings that would help Lightburn to save all of the settings for a particular burn? Thanks, so much! Don’t know what I’d do without Lightburn!
What you are wanting is the default mode of operation for LightBurn. If you do a File/Save and save a file, it will retain all settings, assuming that you are re-opening the file with a File/Open. If you Import the file, it will just bring in the design and not any of the settings.
That makes perfect sense, as I often create something in LightBurn on my PC, and then email it to myself so that I can open it with my laptop that’s connected to the laser. Thanks!
