Scale problems exporting DXF for CAD import

I seem to be having trouble exporting dxf files and importing them into my CAD or CAM software. The imported geometry is out of scale. It’s not the expected mm/inch or cm/inch scales either. Seems to be almost random value. I have been scaling the data in the cad system to correct this.

Any idea what setting I may have wrong?
