in what version of lightburn was the trim tool introduced? i have version 1.4.05?

In 1.4.05 you can still use ‘t’ while hovering over a path when in Node Edit mode with your shapes selected, and that path will be cut away in a similar(ish) manner as the new scissor tool.

While this is definitely true, the addition of the Scissor tool forced a significant review of the code and a lot of bug fixes and general improvements.

So, yes, the (T)rim command in node edit is similar, but the newer version of LightBurn improved the (T)rim tool and added the Scissor tool as well.

@rick7 that was a hint. In my opinion, the Scissor Tool is waaaayyyyy better than the t-thing. It actually made Node editing fun for me.
