Sculpfun S6 Pro cutting ovals instead of circle

My sculpfun s 6 pro has recently decided to start acting crazy and not cutting correctly it will cut ovals instead of circles. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am a newbie when it comes to this type of stuff. I checked after reading many articles and rotary is disabled

Could we get picture of the problem?

Did you already go through these steps: Guide to mechanical adjustments and maintenance ?

Yes I did all this

Then show a picture as already requested. Otherwise it’s hard to judge.

This is what the ovals look like

Ok so I tried to burn a circle at 6000/75 and nothing then put the power to 100% still nothing it’s like it just framed it

6000 is much, much too fast for an S6. The mechanics can work reliably up to 3000mm/min, maybe. Reduce your settings to 400-600mm/min for cutting and 1500-2500mm/min for engraving.
Check if the shapes are better then. Did you check the grub screws, they constantly get loose and can cause the mechanical distortion.

A sudden change is almost certain to be mechanical problem. You have missed something. And the #1 cause is loose set screws on the motor drive pullies.

I did check those

Now it won’t complete the oval

You are still loosing steps on the y axis especially. Which speeds did you use here?

Thank you for all your help it cut a better circle so I have to tighten it some more thanks again

i got help from sculpfun it wasnt anything to do with tension or bolts it was the eccentric nuts

Glad you got it sorted. I assume the roller eccentrics are mentioned in Misken’s guide. It’s a periodic check/adjust, just like belt tension and fasteners.

That’s quite common; therefore, it is among the first things that is mentioned in the guide I sent you last week… I’ll add your picture to make it even more clear.

Small note: those are not eccentric nuts. Eccentric nuts adjust the distance of the wheels to the slot.
