Second Hand Creality Falcon 10w Laser

Hi,

I’ve just bought a second hand Falcon 10w laser but unfortunately it didn’t come with the SD card.

I’ve downloaded Lightburn on my laptop but haven’t activated it yet. I’ve been doing some research and I keep reading about a file on the SD card which is required for Lightburn but I do not have it. I’ve had a look on Creality’s website and can’t find it and I can’t find it on here. I’ve also looked on this forum and only found limited info (apologies if it is available on here I just cannot find it).

Do I need this file in order to use Lightburn with my laser? If so how can I obtain it?

Also, I don’t have an SD card to put into the laser. Can I still use the file without the SD card?

Thank you for the info! My laser is the CR 10w Falcon. That link takes me to files for the A1 Falcon. Is this the correct thing for me?

No idea, that’s why I said be sure to get the correct files. Use the search bar on the top of the wiki to search for your exact machine.

OK I still cant seem to find it. Does anybody have the .ibdev file and would be happy to email it to me or something?

I found through google search. It appears to be a copy of the SD card. Use at your own risk. Virus scanning is highly recommended.

This is just a parameter file. Go ahead and try the A1 one you did find, if it is not for a galvo or fiber laser. If it does not work, then you can just load the good one when you do find it.
