Hi All,
I have come across some strange behavior of my Chinese dual laser machine running a Ruida RDC6445G controller.
I was trying to cut a thick foam and I have set multiple passes using a Z offset to cut through it, which worked fine.
When I tried to set Z step per pass to 1mm it has cut the first shape in the design fine with multiple passes and stepping down with each pass, but when it moved on to the second shape (still within the one design) it turned the second laser on for no apparent reason.
When I set the Z step per pass to 0mm, it work fine again with only the first laser.
When trying to find the setting for the second laser I realized that it is not showing it any more in Lightburn like it used to. I knew that it had to be connected to the controller to realize that it is a dual laser machine, so I have restarted Lightburn (1.0.0.4), the Ruida controller (RDC6445G) and the laptop (Lenovo P5, win 10) in the end with the computer connected to the controller via USB, but still no second laser setting.
Has anyone else had this issue? Any suggestions?
Thanks.
