Selecting a section of a JPEG to re-burn

Is there a way to select a section of a JPEG to burn again without having to re-burn the whole thing?

I have not tried this, however…
Make a duplicate of the image and save it to a new layer that is not output or shown (this creates a backup and leaves the original ready for edit).
Use the methods described in: Image Masking / Cropping - LightBurn Software Documentation to crop the area you want to burn…

Additionally, we have another tool to help with this type of situation. You can use the ‘Start here’ feature found in the ‘Preview’ window. Have a look at this, I just posted.

When opening the ‘Preview’ window, we show the entire job process, advanced to completion. We also provide a way to scrub or slide through, from start to end, with the ‘Play’ button and a slide bar ([image]) for “scrubbing” back and forth through the process. The slider can not be all the way right, showing the completed job, for the ‘Start here’ to become available. You can’t “start” from the end. Scrub back away from the end to the exact place you want to Start, and you should see that…
