having problems setting the framing of the tumbler that I’m trying to engrave the laser head moves in the wrong position.
The only thing you change when you go to a rotary is the Y axes, usually. The head has only X motion … how could it move in the wrong directions?
I move the head to where I want the logo and try to frame it or start the burn and the x motion goes to different position. not sure what I’m doing wrong just got everything and trying to learn I went to move in Lightburn and put the settings in and it moves to a different position
What kind of laser do you actually have ?
This doesn’t sound like a Ruida controller… a link to the machine might help anyone involved…

Is your ‘start from’ set to ‘user origin’?
After you move it to the ‘user origin’, you must press ‘origin’ on the Ruida console … did you?
That tells the machine it’s a user origin…
