I have a Yora Home 6550 5.5 watt machine and I use Lightburn. I thought I had creating an origin down but my last few trys after setting it and moving away and returning to origin. did not return to the same position I created. Please tell me the correct steps to set an origin for a project where when i move away with the move buttons and return to origin it goes to the same spot.
We noticed after this last update, return to origin stopped working for us as well.
Yora 6550 w/ 5.5W laser.
We can start a burn, click stop and then click return to origin and it moves back and well beyond the origin to the edge of the 6550 and attempts to go beyond the physical limitation.
OK,
After some reading.
Here is what I found.
I don’t believe I was recalling correctly if we’d ever fully stopped a job mid way and then used go to origin.
First, to set origin, you have to used the “set origin button” under the move menu (looks like the original post might have already been doing this).
The “job origin” and the “set origin” appear to be different things. When you start a job from current position, it returns to the “job origin” after completion.
If I stop a job but it doesn’t have “set origin” clicked, then it will not return to the job origin or really any “origin” close to where you started. It would be nice to have the set origin button on the laser page where you start/stop your jobs etc.
I tested this morning and the set origin, start/stop job and return to origin are working on our yorahome 5.5w laser.

I had a few like that but more stopping short of where the project started from. Does this happen with updates?
