Setting up new Ortur LM3 - watched video for first project. When I hit frame, nothing happens. When I hit start - message says cannot send job machine may be busy or paused
Post full image of your lightburn please
a) assuming you running MacOs M1? what cable are you using
b) when you poer OLM3 FIRST, and then launch lightburn, what devices are populated on the drop down in front of devices on Laser Panel?

Using cable that can with laser
When setting up light burn, out laser was detected & I selected it
this really matters 
The only device listed is Ortur LM3
Power on OLM3
close and open Lightburn again
Look at this dropdown menu, what you see listed?
If listed, select the device callec cu.usbmodemxxxx

assuming then in your console window you got a lot of text and machine went into home position?

I would
Edit _> settings
Make sure your scale is set to mm/min
Click Devices button, doubl click the device, make sure the controller listed is GRBL
And also edit → device settings
Activate Gcode Cluster
Frame and fire button
Also make sure Smax is 1000
I don’t know how to activate GCcode Cluster
You can copy these exactly
Just be sure that if S-value is NOT 1000 you need to reconfigure your profile fully
This all looks good although I do not have Baud
I do not see Baud Rate field
I would sugest you recreate your profile by Hand
Click Devices button
Delete all profiles there
Click then CREATE manually
GRBL
NExt > Serial
NExt > call it OLM3 and 400x400
Next → front left and home
Next and finish
go back to Edit → device settings
