We do lots of text that is shaped to a curve. Since installing 2.1.00, anytime this text is part of a group, when it is ungrouped, it straightens the text into a line instead of its original arc.
I tried to see if I could find this issue recorded already, but didn’t see anything. Is there a workaround? Or do I need to roll back to a previous version?
When you say “shaped” do you mean “apply path to text”?
Do you have a simple example I can look at? We’re going to have a patch release very soon, so it’s possible this could be fixed before that release.
Ahh, ok - That’s likely simpler to find. Thanks for the response - I’ll look into that now.
Did you start with a very large design and then scale it down a lot, by chance? I think I see what’s happening.
This will be fixed in the 2.1.02 patch.
If that did happen it was long ago in this designs history. This is a basic template we copy and paste. Regardless, thanks for jumping on this right away!
The patch with the included fix will likely be released on Monday.

I meant text that has been curved using the purple dot in the first image. This image is before grouping.
