Thatās also my preferred way to do it.
Itās does in fact work.
Just draw your top and bottom lines the length you want.
I only used the grid lines to simplify the example.
You can turn off the grid and still do it. ![]()
One can also use the 4-point Warp tool. With a shape selected, from the top menu choose āToolsāā>āWarp Selection (4 points)ā. Holding the Shift key while dragging a handle will maintain horizontal symmetry. Holding Alt / Option while dragging a handle will maintain vertical symmetry. Double-click on a handle to reset it. ![]()

Absolutely brilliant, and just what I was looking for.
All ideas given had a purpose but this one is my favorite and so easy to use.
Thank you Rick
Iāve needed to do something else related to āWrapā before and I learned about this function, but I couldnāt remember exactly how to do it. ![]()
At the time, I even created a topic to ask another question!!!
Why do we forget things when we really need them? Does Lightburn have too many options, or am I just getting old and senile? ![]()
Thanks for reminding me!!!![]()
My guess is old and senile. I know thatās my excuse.
My son asked me if I was getting senile. I told him no, I just donāt tolerate stupidity like I used to.
Just tested, the Warp Tool 4-point works on text too ![]()
I had to use a translator to try and figure out if you were joking or making a more serious statement. Only in the translation did I realize I read āsmileā instead of āsenile.ā

Besides being old and senile, now Iām also becoming nearsighted!!! I think Iāll rethink my Christmas wish list⦠![]()
Regarding using this tool in text, I believe thereās at least one video that addresses the topic. But Iām not so sure anymore.
I apologize for prolonging a topic that has already been resolved, but Iām only doing so because I believe there is still useful information to be shared!
I agree. Solved without all the questions answered leaves us wanting more.

Maybe my brain is fragmented and need to defrag.
Or delete a bunch of old useless info and free up some memory.
