OMg. I knew it was simple. Still. For example when I draw a line I do not have to select a color to be able to see it. For the little bit of time I have with Lightburn I do not recall this being the case. There is a chance I never had to do a shape before but, again, I expect to see the shape in the Cuts/Layers window before applying a color. I see now that the shape does not show until a color is applied. Everything else I’ve done seems that a default color was applied.
I do intend to make the ellipse part of the 01 blue line so this works out good. I fumbled around with the colors with confusion before but I think this taught me something that is lightburned into my brain now.
Thanks for your help but I was originally put back by your crystal ball comment. The Freecad forum is 100% serious sarcasm meant to insult so I almost didn’t play well. Glad I did. You left a hint of humor in your sarcasm so I gave you the benefit of the doubt.
The color selection issue has caught me more times than I like to admit. I have nearly worn the paint off both CTRL and Z buttons from working Lightburn and using the back one step option. It’s better than Phone a Friend for me.
I try to keep my my snark-casm to a minimum for the sake of the friendly neighborhood here on LB. This is a great place filled with very friendly people.
