Does Lightburn have an option for text to be single line font? My only solution was to improvise.
I make a temporary file with Aspire to create my text using single line font then export the vectors as DXF then drop into LB. This works for the most part but seems like a bit of a work-around. If you want to change the font you have to go back and redo in Aspire, export, etc…
If you have the single line fonts on your computer you need to tell Lightburn where they are. They don’t install like regular fonts. The setting in in the Settings (gears) menu.
Hi Charlie, yes I use nanoCAD 5 for all my designs and save them as a DXF file. With single or multi line text use windows “words document” for your texts. once you have done your design in “words” go to file>save as and save it as a PDF file. Import it into LB, trace it and it will work ever time. Laser4 Graham
