Snap feature does not work

I am relatively new to lightburn and am having problems using the snap feature. I have enabled in settings and tried many different settings. Tried CTRL + / to no avail. Tried pressing the “alt” key to increase sensitivity. Installed lightburn on a different computer and still can’t get to work. Using several computers Using Windows 10. Still can’t find a solution. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Snapping may work differently than in other programs you’re familiar with.

I suggest you review the documentation where this is covered:
Snapping Tool - LightBurn Software Documentation

Thanks that was two days ago…Researched forums and the internet and finally asked for help. Other people have had the problem but a solution was not posted

Sorry. A little confused. What was two days ago?

It may not be readily searched but I do know that I’ve responded to similar posts.

I read the docs two days ago. Searched the internet and youtube. I have seen it work on youtube and figure I have something set wrong. Funny two separate computers and two separate installs. Same results on both. I can’t get it to snap to anything to align objects or lines

Can you describe the process that you’re currently using to attempt this?

You actually gave me the answer with your question. I was selecting the object I wanted to align wrong. Thank you!
