hi guys
for the past month I’ve had a software issue but i didn’t know it was that ,so many nights trying to work out what it was ripped into omtech terrible to get hold of and they try to get out of everything
so whats been going on well ive had stray lines in photos and text like over run from the image
so today i installed rdworks guess what know line at all i was gobsmacked
but its no where good as light burn in fact i hate it after using light burn
so i want to get light burn back up and running desperately please can anyone advise from light burn if i got any options going forward what i can do i am not an expert but i really need some help please attached are some photos of what its been doing in lightburn

This looks like lost motion.

If you measure the jump - how far the adjacent blocks of lines have moved and you measure the belt in your machine - do those measurements match and line up to the raised ribs on the drive belt?

While you’re there, wiggle the belts and see if they’re snug. Loose belts will also jump teeth.

If the belts aren’t loose the next thing to try is slowing down.

I have the same issue. All the belts are tight and it is not skipping teeth. I slowed down to 1000 mm/min and still the same issue.

I’m running a Comgrow 5W laser on a Creality Ender 3 Pro 3D printer on Marlin.

There are few subtle design differences in machine behaviour between an Omtech 60W and your Creality Ender 3.

You may be better served starting a different thread with a description of your engraver, pictures, settings and experiences.

I regret that it is exceptionally unlikely that you are having the same issue but please do open that up in a new post.

hey guys does any one know why light burn is giving me problems but rd works is ok its on images and text well everything except cutting
my laser is omtech 60w blue n grey bought light burn off them when i had the machine do you think its a corrupt light burn i am really stuck
some one mentioned maybe a loading issue of the file from light burn does that mean i cant ever use it?
the thing is I’ve been practicing for 1.5 months with it so don’t want to use rd works surely I cant be the only one its ever happened too
