I am new to lightburn and I have tried to figure out how to engrave on wood solid incited of outline burn. I can not figure it out, is there a you tube on that or can someone tell me how to do it. Thanks so much
Generally with vectors, only the tool path is visible. If you want to fill an object you can do that.
If I make a box, it produces just a box, if I fill it, then everything within the box will be filled.
Some of the basic functions of Lightburn you should understand.
There are videos on YT in the Lightburn section.
All objects must be closed to use fill.

Preview is your friend.
I have also set my Fills to show as Rendered which I think makes understanding easier.
