I have noticed that when I went to change the justification on some text that it was not available. I also had trouble welding items. Has there been anyone else having issues or am I just that special lol? Is it possible that I have messed up some of my settings? If you see the highlights at the top of my picture you will see that there are a lot of things not active. If there needs to be any further screenshots just let me know? I will try to be on the look out for replies here. Thank you in advance for the help folks!
The items that are grayed out are that way because they require 2 items to be selected in order to be used. Those are the alignment and distribute controls. You can use them to align a text block to another item, but not to align text within a block.
To align text you need to use the text align controls shown here.
