Hi, I just got my Ortur Laser Master 3 last week and I’ve found that my speed settings I’ve been used to are now super faster in Lightburn than they were on my Ortur LM 2
Are you saying that the OLM3 is capable of faster speeds than the OLM2? If yes, that’s correct due to design changes.
Or are you saying that for the same speed setting in LightBurn that it’s moving faster in OLM3 vs OLM2? If so, it’s possible that your speed setting was faster than the OLM2 was capable of moving and was actually being limited by the max speed setting in machine settings. Since the OLM3 is capable of faster speeds it may be just getting closer to the requested speed.
Test this with dramatically slower speeds to confirm. Try something like 1000 mm/minute. This should run the same speed on both lasers.
