Hello,
Recently after updating Lightburn to newest version 1.3.01 I found that it has a problem with keeping speeds and powers in place. What I mean about that is, when I set the project, set speeds and powers for particular model and it is done at home on Lightburn, then I go to my shed, open same version of LB on my shed laptop, open the file on laptop and all my speeds getting extra 10.000 - 20.000 speeds added randomly to all layers Powers were all to 100, as shape properties meant to lower by % to do cut test. So I have to spend another time to set that again there - that is frustrating.
Yes - I can use library, and I do really, but then why I have layers with own speeds/powers able to set if still have to go back to library, that makes no sense.
Here is an example of my problem. At home powers were set to 100 and speeds were set not higher than 400 in that case as it was test for cutting on 9mm ply.
I came to my laptop, insert the usb stick, open file and here what I get.,…
Please can anyone help?
I am not often writing for help, because most often Lightburn works like a charm, but recently there is more Ohh and Ahh Why!?!?
And I am not new to that stuff anymore, so it is frustrating it happens.
Kind Regards
Lukasz
With regards to the speed difference, are you sure you are using the same units on both computers. It would appear to me that you may have the home pc set to mm/s and the garage laptop set to mm/m.
Topic to close,
So sorry for wasting your time sir, but without asking I would not know the answer.
Yes, that is a speed setting difference, in shed I cut with mm/min, on pc have set to mm/s
I am so silly, silly mistake, I do Apologise. Lightburn is Best ever - me on the other hand still in learning curve…
Kind Regards
Lukasz
