Square gets cut in both directions - 9 passes turns to 18!

I’ve been burning a lot (already on 2nd laser module) and I haven’t run into this.
I’m burning keychains (3 layers). 1st layer is the image, 2nd layer is the keyring hole, 3rd is the square cut. I didn’t look in to see the keyring holes being burned, but I’m noticing on the square cut layer, it’s burning the 9 passes (cutting ply), then it goes to the opposite side of the square and burns another 9 passes. It’s burning twice as long as necessary. Is there a setting I’m missing? Is it the “Choose best direction” setting? I paused my burn (110 keychains) and turned that off, but no change when I resume, so I paused again to ask in here.

How can I change the passes in the middle of a burn? Will the Gcode pick up right where I’m at if I save it, or what do I need to do? Thank you so much in advance!

See if you can find an optimize cut path switch, On the DSP version it’s in with the laser controls

Ruida controllers do not use gcode. You have a grbl controller in all probability.

Might be helpful if you can post the .lbrn2 file.
