Start From Position Help

I’ve been having some difficulties changing the position settings of my TL-3120 controller and the Lightburn software. When I try to change the settings using the “Start From” drop down box the only option I can choose is “Controller Settings” and I have been unable to find how to change this. Am I missing something?

Trocen controllers do not allow the origin mode to be changed from the software - you have to do it from a menu in the controller.

They work, but you have to change the mode on the controller itself, not within LightBurn. You leave LightBurn in “User Origin” mode. On the controller, press Menu, then choose Common Parameters Settings, then Work Mode, then Origin Mode. Once you’ve changed the origin mode on the controller itself, it will work. Another option is to manually set the user origin to match the machine origin, then you can use Absolute Coords mode in LightBurn without having to set it on the controller.
