Start here feature in preview (kudos, not problem or question)

My plywood isn’t the top of the line stuff and has the occasional internal flaw. If I’m watching the burn, I can tell it’s a bad spot, as there are spits and sparks. Even if I’m not looking at the cut, there will be an ashen section around the cut line and a feeler gauge will tell me the stuff isn’t cut through. In the past, I would select only that shape and resend the cut, resulting in excessive burns for areas not needed.

With the “start here” option, I can scrub the preview and send the cut for only the segment that has to be re-burned. It’s a great work-saver.

I realized after using this feature that I can also hit start for as many times as it takes to get through the troublemaker, but even as important, to perform the entire cut list again, I have to re-send the job.

Also realized after using this feature is that I could have identified the section in the job, popped the node tool and split off that section, then cut only that selection, but this new feature is a good deal easier.

I often wonder what other fabulous features I’m missing, but that’s due to lack of storage space in my alleged mind.

I’m still waiting for the bionic SD card reader accessory to plug into my skull. It’s probably not a LightBurn add-on for a long time to come.
