Start Point for Engraving a Cylindric Object

I have a Falcon 2 22w with the Rotary Pro tool. My laptop runs Windows 10. All software is up-to-date.

When I position the laser over the center of the object and tell it to set its start point at the left center position, the final engraving is always advanced about 1/4 inch off that center mark.

Is there a ssetting in Lightburn that can compensate for this? On a side note, this problem does not exist on a flat surface.

show us your LightBurn workspace. Is there a border around the object. Are you using a selection origin ?
