Starting again after motherboard death

Hi all.

I just had my motherboard die unexpectedly with no warning so all my lighburn libraries are gone along with everything else. My question is… my hard drive is fine (ive put it in a caddy but i cant find any librariesof in lightburn folders) so can i somehow use those folders to overwrite a new install on a new pc. Hope im making sense, its kind of hard to explain. Hope its possible. I have a couple years worth of files there.

If your hard drive is fine all of your programs and files should still be there. You don’t specify, but I’m assuming Windows. Unless you install this drive as the C drive in your computer or use a transfer tool to clone it the files won’t be at the same letter designation and may be in a USER Folder that is probably password protected.
If this isn’t making sense to you, find a local computer person to help you.

You should be able to search the old drive for any kind of file you many need.

Hi. Its an old computer si theres no chance of reinstalling this drive as a C: drive in another system, its one thing to find and remove motherboard and system drivers from a program files folder but tentacles spread everywhere through registry, windows folder etc. I was kind of hoping someone else had been through this b4 that knows how to extract art libraries.

Lightburn art libraries arent showing up how they normally do in a running windows system.

The art libraries and materials libraries are just files stored on your drive. You just need to locate them and move them to a new drive location.
