Sooo, I have seen a few questions about how to open more instances of Lightburn, but my question is slightly different.
I have an Elgato Streamdeck, and on my top row of this I have my most used software, so i can switch quickly between programs. For example Photoshop, Illustrator and Lightburn.
The problem is, all my other software i can click the button and the running instance of that particular software opens, but with Lightburn it doesn’t open the running version of the software, but instead opens a new window with an empty Lightburn project.
IS there a way of didsabling this, or does anyone have any smart macros/functions for the elgato to bypass this.
If I understood it correctly, you want to click a Stream deck button and:
a) if LightBurn is NOT running - open it
b) If LightBurn IS running - bring it forward
I am not certain there is a setting for this @LightBurn might correct here.
However, you can configure StreamDeck (+AutoHotKey) to do what you need.
Yesm this is exactly what i need. I did find a solution now though. There is an app in the Elgato Market Place called “Windows Mover” which at least brings the running programs forward. This works for me, i can always open the application once, thats not so bad, just annoying if it opens a new instance every time.
Thank you for your reply
Thanks just to now how it works when called from that kind of application, because I have a program with which I can export directly to Lightburn and it exports to the current instance.
