Strange behavior offset fill and PWN override

Hello All,

I’m coming to you today with a problem I face at the moment.

I have a 100W RF CO2 laser machine with a Ruida 6445G. I’m trying the offset fill for the first time but for my engraving I want to reduce the PWN frequency that it is actualy at 30kHz. Any time I want to introduce a new value and click OK it is not stored. Next time I open the layer config window the PWN override value is still at 30k. All other parameters are stored but not this one.

Any idea ?

Ah !

I’ve made more tests and I’ve been able to find a work arround and change the pwn setting.

If I switch the layer to Line, edit the pwn override setting (let say 12k), click OK : the setting get saved. Then if I change the layer to Offset Fill the override pwn setting stay at the previously saved value (here 12k).

Probably a bug in the software

That does sound like a bug. I’ll have a look.

Edit: Fixed for the next release.
