Struggling with rotary engraver set up?

i’m attempting to set up a chuck rotary engraver, when i load it in lightburn my steps comes up at 77000.00

i’m measuring the diameter of my object, but when i test it with a circle shape it comes out hugely elongated (as in a stretched oval).

can anyone offer any advice how i can resolve this?

Hi with mine I thought it would be 92,000 … turns out it was 30,000 … it might help to try trial and error to get where you need to be.
