Since node editing isn’t an option with text, it would be awesome to be able to “grab” onto part of a letter and stretch it wherever. Example image, I’d like to be able to grab this part of the H and stretch it behind the Y so that the two words are connected yet still spaced apart some. If I’m missing an option to accomplish this I would greatly appreciate any guidance. Thanks!
you can convert the text to a path, which I suspect would be a requirement if such a feature were to be implemented. With the text converted, you can select a number of nodes by rubber-banding them, then drag/stretch to the desired location.
Node editing is an option with text once it is converted to a path. Any ‘localized’ change, like stretching only a part of a letter, would require this too.
