(Newbie) This is already on the forum but could not find a solution. Tried Inkscape svg, regular svg and dxf but not good.
Just a simple text only medallion for printing on wood. Some of the text is on curves, but coming into LB I just get disconnected bits of text.

How about this idea?
Make your own object with the native tools in lightburn?
30 second job to draw a circle, offset outward and make a text box.
Getting the text to show inside the circle is another 19 seconds job: change text to path, off set a small fraction and delete original objects.
Less than a minute and 3 new skills learned.
Oops. Forgot the curved line of text underneath. Add another 24 seconds to apply text to line.

If you select the curved text in Inkscape, then Path>Object to Path, then save the SVG, it will import into LB
