Hello all,
I have come accross a feature that I am not sure how to turn off.
On an outside vector I run two tool paths, one to round over the top edge and one to cut the project from its blank.
The tool paths work correctly and this is not part of my question.
What I see happens (on more than one project) is, when you create a tab on the vector (for cutting the job out) Millmage is applying the tab to all tool paths oin that vector automatically.
Sure I go in and turn it off, problem solved, but sometimes when i open the project again the tabs will again be turned on.
I will attach images showing what the preview screen displays.
Please don’t hesitate to ask any clarifying questions.
Rob.
Did you close a previous project with Tabs on, then open another and the Tabs were on, when you were absolutely for sure positive you saved it with the Tabs off?
I played with it turning on and off, saving and not saving, every way I could guess. The Tab switch was always where it was supposed to be.
But I did not try saving one with Tabs and opening another that should not have Tabs. Curious?

I created this project this afternoon to make sure i can replicate the situation.
It appears to happen when you go back and modify a tool path on the vector.
I too can create tool paths and apply tabs manually when i want.
The issue i am having is, when I apply another tool path to the same vector, millmage applies (turns on) tabs for the new tool path as well when i didnt request that action.
Further to that, when i modify one of the toolmpaths, it again turns on tabs for every tool path on the vector automatically.
Are suggesting i can not use MANUAL tab placement?
I am a Beta Tester for MillMage. Be as technical as you want. Based on personal histories, we all do not always use the same terminology. Sometimes I have to translate your words onto Hillbilly so I can understand what you said.
