This is my logo. The perception is that the bottom of the logo is shorter than the top. When I plug in the numbers for the taper warp, it makes it really bad and increases rather overall size of the logo. Even though the logo is only 2.25” and starts .5” from the stainless, do I measure the bottom of the tumber or the bottom of the logo? The length of the number is 6”.
I played with the Taper Warp a bit and discovered you can warp it from the top in both directions. You make the bottom smaller, or the top, by playing with the settings.
Cover the tumbler with tape or paper to practice on. Cheaper that way.
Since the logo is the same size from top to bottom. Your right, its the way your eyes view things that make is looks like its tapered. Do you want the logo to look like it is same size top to bottom even though it isnt.
Yes, I would like the logo to look the same top to bottom. Do I use Taper warp? or doI use the warp in Edit? Izf I use Taper warp, do I measure the whole tumbler for the length or do I measure just the logo?
One thing I tried is to get a design in light burn how you like it and then instead of trying to laser it I just printed it on a piece of paper, cut it out and taped it to the Tumblr. This gave me a reasonably good idea of how it would turn out on the laser.
